Dynamic Productions came together for our first meeting today. Possible song choices were dicussed and from this, two strong song choices were evident. 'Feeling Good - Muse' and 'Glory - Ryan Leslie'. The two songs are very contrasting in their genre of music and to who they appeal. These songs choices will allow us to explore in depth conventional aspects of a music videos because the genres are so different, and a promotional package which will allow us to compare and contrast the generic conventional aspects of theseproducts (music video and promotional package).
Also during this meeting the group had began to produce mood boards and began looking briefly at the theme of the narrative. We have come to a conclusion that 'relationships' will be the dominant theme for the existing ideas unless Ryan Leslie should be chosen in which case the alternative them will be 'aspiration', from this we have discussed sub categories of relationships that could take possible role in the narrative of the music video as well as sub categories of the alternative theme.
