CD Justification

When showing my CD booklet to my peers i recieved mixed responses, whilst the majority positively responded to CD, some responded with comments such as:

"It's very simple, i like the pictures but there isn't much too it"

"It's really basic, was it supposed to be this way?"

"I like the mise-en-scene it gives a depressing vibe, but there isn't a lot on it"

However this was done purposely to conform to the conventions of Muse and their album artwork. Muse tend to keep their CD artwork very simplistic, in many of their releases they tend to only include an image which stands out supporting their frequent use of Gaze Theory which is why i decided to make my album very simplistic with iconic images and song lyrics. Below are examples of Muse albums that show simplicity.
